I struggled with my weight all of my life, felt like the oddball and unaccepted all through school.
As I reached adulthood, I began feeling a little more accepted but life was still difficult. Being over weight affects every aspect of your life and I mean every aspect! From walking to sitting, standing to sleeping, riding in a car, not being able to ride amusement park rides with your children, go on walks with your wife, traveling on airliners, fitting in bathroom stalls. It causes, Heart problems, Sleep Apnea, Diabetes, Arthritis and Joint problems and on and on, not to mention self esteem. After my first wife died, I blew up to 496 lbs. At the time of the before photo I weighed 481 lbs ( My Wedding Day to Martha ). In April 2003, God made the changes in my life to allow me to have Roux En-Y Gastric ByPass surgery.  The surgery saved my life and is truly miracle surgery.
 
  I am so thankful that God has allowed man to have enough knowledge to take care of problems such as this.  If you are thinking about having the surgery, I would recommend Laparoscopic surgery, there  are much fewer complications. Instead of a long time in the hospital, I spent 3 days in the hospital and was able to return to work in 2 weeks.
